Thank's:)

How much real newbies are playing UO now?!
Or now there are almost old veteran's?

Post subject:  Re: Our "Hi, I'm new here" thread..

Honestly most people playing uo these days are veterans of some sort. with at least a couple or 4 years on thier "mileage".

But you will find that on any shard are some people that are willing to guide new players, and aid in the most needed equipment and similar. To get you a good start, just be polite about it and don't ask for more than you need, and you will find help ;)

Greetings Apelsinchik..

As a new player, you could perhaps help us improve!

When you've been playing a game for as long as we have, it can be very hard to imagine how new players view it.. Some things we take for granted and just seems logical to us, may seem confusing to newcomers!

So since we hardly ever get any feedback here, this is your chance to make this site better and even more useful for the new players.. ;)

Welcome to our world, I hope you enjoy it!

PS. We can usually be found at the West Britain Bank (aka WBB).. Stop by for a chat sometime.. We're a friendly bunch of players, who hardly ever bite..

Stephen & Gilmour - nice to meet you:)
Yes, for a 100% newbies UO is hard... Because a lot of guides are writen for "not 100%" newbies, that play UO in the past.
And UO don't looks like "easyplay mmo". But for me it's better and much interesting!
I hope, that my questions in your forum will not look silly, and will be useful for other newbies.

Aye UO is somewhat hard to start as a fresh player, do ask for others for help and advice ingame or on forums.

And I guess there is some issues with guides as well with guides, and guides is generelly presuming you got basic knowledge of the game.

Just stopping by to say hello,
I'm a returning player coming back to a game that has changed quite a bit but reassuring stayed the same underneath
I forgot how much depth this game has compared to other mmo's World of Warcraft softened me up a bit I think lol

Howdy folks, Hunt here. Been playing UO for years but go back and forth between UO and what new MMO comes out I like. But like so many I ALWAYS come back to UO. Been on Catskills since the beginning. Looks like a great site I don't know how I missed it in the past.

Hunt Treasure <== Before Tram the PK'ers loved to follow me and then kill us all and take the chest... I still get crap for that name :)

Welcome! Nice of you to say hello! ;)

Admittedly our forums is not that highly active as you will soon discover if you stick around, We do get our fair share of visits though, most come for the tools or our Drachenfels news and events related information.

Now i have found my way, too, to here. Want to try out the auction thingy on DF. I hope that I followed all the rules for that in the right way. Now I cannot await the next auction to start. :D

Btw: You all do great work on DF. I learn to really like the/your shard.

I can't believe I've played pretty much constantly since '98 - and have been on Stratics for almost that long - and just found this pretty amazing site...

Well, actually I just found and finished using your Imbuing Calculator - and it is very, very impressive. You are to be congratulated on a splendid piece of coding and the ability to save projects is just icing on the cake...

Hats off to you guys.... I'll check in here from time to time and see what's up.

Keep it lit !
