Hello everyone We would like to know of any feedback you might have to our fishing competition, that was held on January 21st to 23rd of January. We would like to know in particular about the following: - Was a 2 catching days enough/too much/too little? - Was the allowed fish types enough/too many/too few? But feel free to add any additional feedback you might have. Greetings The Knuckleheads |

If you don't have bait for the certain types it can take a long time or alot of luck to catch them.. So I definetely think there should be more time.. Not everone has that much time to actively fish, which might show (and possibly has shown) in the number of contestants.. I have a few suggestions/ideas.. But we can talk about that "behind the curtains".. - Steph |

2 catching days is enough if you ad other fish in it. I would suggest the normal big fish cause most people can catch those easier during the normal fishing day. I'm still trying to get a Blue Marlin and even with bait its very hard. Make a separate competition for Fish like the Marlins or Kingfish and the Normal Big fish. For both lowest and highest are fine. Give the bigger rewards for the Kingfish/Marlin Competition then for the normal Big fish. Not that Seoman would fish for 1 million gold, he would do it even for 1 bottle of rum. Its all about Honor... or getting drunk! And Maybe a seperate Competition for Crab and Lobsters. |

Is there any way to determine when Crabs and Lobsters have been caught? The big fish are ideal because of the timestamp.. Is there something similar with the crustaceans? I admit, I've only done limited crab fishing! But I still believe it should be spread out more.. The timeframe I mean.. I enjoy fishing, and I know others do too.. But I can see why (some) people wouldn't "invest" precious weekend time.. Ofcourse then we could say they're not worthy fishermen! And about the seperate competitions.. That's very similar to what I suggested.. One fish submission per fisher, then it would be up them which category they'd want to enter.. That way there's a slight gamble involved which should increase the winning chances of those that don't fish 24/7.. And increased winning chances usually means more contestants.. - Steph |
