there is some disagreement whereever dex affect the ability to remain hidden when trying to be detected various ways.

im currently testing a char to see if dropping dex will make a difference.

will let you know what i find out.

hmm. well i dropped dex from 60 to 20, and still cant reveal her, so i guess dex dont matter much, good for me, means more int and str, which i could use

also no one was really clear about this on stratics, most said "i think" and "im quite sure" and "i doubt that.." noone was 100% sure.. and im not either, so its still up for debate.. but seems currently that dex does not affect the ability to remain hidden.
