I would max mining if possible :)

Won't be able to dig most map levels alone though, but you already know this :)

Yes i think it have to be mining, those chests are hard to find with only 2 tile radius.

Remember that you can get up to 20 skillpoints from items for mining. (Jacobs Pickaxe from New Haven quest and mining gloves, if your char is not a gargoyle.) After you have found the chest, you can swap those out.

In general ninjitsu would be a valueable addition. 50 is needed to use smoke bombs.

As for t-hunting: I can do maps up to lvl 5 with 110 magery and meditation with energy vortexes. (But have tested only tram/fel yet.) With better equipment (lmc and lots of mr) you might be able to do even without skilled meditation. Especially if your char is human (20 med and focus from joat).
In the past you were able to lure the initial spawn of a chest away to loot it. This is no longer possible. You cannot pick the chest while one of the guardians is still alive nowadays.

You probably should get two different armour suits:
- one for stealthing around and stealing
- one for t-hunting and maybe fishing

For fishing you might want to get one or two nice pets. You dont need any real taming or animal lore to have full control over 2 lowland bouras. A golem or a vollem (or 2) would work too. (But remember that you cannot heal those with normal magery.) Even a trained beetle could probably do the work. But it might be a problem to convince a tamer to train a beetle for you. Top team for you would be a trained beetle + a vollem. (Summons would work too for fishing but for myself those are too uncomfortable to use them regularly.)

Nice post Silverbird.. ;) Good points.. The two vollems for fishing works nicely..

Smokebombs is okay, but rarely needed.. If you cast invis at the right time, it works just as nicely.. ;)

Don't really need more than 80 stealth though..

he have 100 stealth cause it somehow mess up with joat having only 15 real, and then don't work.. so he increased it to 100 or 35 real :)
